Multiple Open Request Bubbles

Where a patient has multiple open requests pertaining to them, or their account has been used as a proxy to submit multiple requests for others, the system now reflects this with the addition of blue bubbles containing the number of open requests for them.

(Note: For a video demonstration of 'bubbles', click here)

There are two different types of bubbles, first:

Multiple Open Requests Relating To a Patient

If the patient only has one open request then there will be no blue bubble next to the request, however where multiple open requests currently exist for the patient they will appear as below:

Clicking this bubble applies a filter to the request list so you can now very easily see all the requests that relate to this patient, you will see their name appear as a filter at the top of the request list:

For each of the various request lists 'New', 'Assigned', 'Assigned to me or my groups' and 'Waiting' you can now click through and the 'Name' filter for that patient will still be applied at the top of the screen allowing you to find all the open requests that may exist whether they are unassigned, assigned to you or other users, or currently in 'Waiting'.

If you review the lists and can't find one of the open requests, it may be because it is in 'Waiting' but is currently assigned to another user. You can still see the request though, if you go to Waiting and hit the toggle to 'Show all' now, rather than only seeing requests in waiting which are assigned to you, it will also look for 'Waiting' requests for this patient that may be assigned to other users:

Multiple Open Requests Created by a User

This looks very similar to the above where a given patient has multiple open requests, but the bubble for this one appears just below the other one if a request fits both criteria.

This bubble denotes multiple proxy requests submitted by the same user account. You will be likely to see this where for instance a parent has open requests for more than one of their children that they act as proxy for, or a care home submitting multiple requests for their residents at once.

It allows you to click the number in the bubble to quickly filter by all cases requested by that same user.

This adds a 'Created by' filter to the top of the request lists and allows you to click through the 'New', 'Assigned', 'Assigned to me or my groups' and 'Waiting' lists to find all requests created by the user.

Note: as above you may need to toggle the 'Show all' button when viewing the requests from the 'Waiting' list to also include any requests made by that proxy that may be assigned to another clinician and are currently in the waiting state:
