The most common of errors fall into three categories; - Patient Details, Staff Member configuration, and Technical Problems
Patient Details
The following error messages advise that the details held in askmyGP don't match those within your clinical system and therefore there is no matched record for the consultation to be written back into;
Unable to match patient's surname

Unable to find patient

To resolve these, please check the clinical record matches the askmyGP patient record, or alternatively carry out a NHS Spine lookup within askmyGP to pull the most recent details for that patient.
Staff Member configuration
The following error messages advise the incorrect username for EMIS/SystemOne is held within askmyGP for the staff member trying to write back, or the relevant permissions haven't been setup within your clinical system to allow writeback;
Invalid credentials - Please ensure within 'my profile' on askmyGP, the correct EMIS/SystemOne username has been entered. This should be the username used when logging in without a smartcard.

Access Denied - This suggests the staff member hasn't been granted the correct permissions within EMIS/SystemOne to enable writeback. Please re-read these articles to configure writeback for EMIS and for SystemOne

Technical Problems
The following error messages advise that there are other technical reasons as to why the writeback has failed;
Request too long - This suggests the consultation has exceed the character limit allowed by your clinical system for writeback. This can also be applicable where there are multiple large attachments added to a consultation. Please revert to manually writing this back and close the consultation using "Mark as manually filed".

Null object passed to error message decoder - This suggests a technical issue between askmyGP and the clinical server. Please contact hello@evergreen-life.co.uk with a screenshot of the error message you are seeing similar to the below.
