Select ‘Settings’ on the right-hand side, then ‘Groups.’

To create a new group, select the plus button on the bottom left-hand side.

Name

Typically groups are Doctors, Nurses, Receptionists, but you have the option to create your own bespoke ones. It is important for all patient-facing staff to be in at least one group.

Groups can have requests assigned

Switch the button to 'yes' if you want this group to receive patient requests as a whole. This then allows anyone in the group to pick up a request rather than it need be assigned specifically to them.

Members can have requests assigned

Switch the button to 'yes' if you want individuals within the group to be allocated requests specifically to themselves.

Patients can choose group members

Switch the button to 'yes' if you want patients to have the option to choose which person deals with their request.

Can complete on behalf of another

Switch button to 'yes' if you want to allow any member of the group to complete a request on behalf of another staff member, eg, a receptionist booking a patient into a face to face appt and then completing the askmyGP request on behalf of the clinician.
